Prepare a delicious matcha latte at home
Add matcha
Sift 2 g of matcha powder into a bowl through a fine sieve to ensure a smooth, lump-free texture. Add 50 ml of warm water (~75°C) and whisk vigorously until frothy.
Mix well
Whisk vigorously with a bamboo whisk (chasen) or an electric frother until a distinct, velvety layer of foam forms on the surface.
Combine
Add 180 - 250ml of hot milk. Sweetener, syrup or ice can be added for Iced Matcha Latte.
